Kub story started in 2007 when we were part of the Dorel family, along side with brands like Maxi Cosi and Quinny. The business grew to become suppliers of all the major UK retailers including Mothercare, Kiddicare, Toys R Us as well as a great number of independent retailers around the UK.
Followed by changes in management and business approach at the end of 2012, Dorel decided to focus on their core business of car seats, pushchairs and small nursery safety products like safety gates. With few options available to me plus the retail competitions, and my new-born first daughter, I decided to take the plunge and buy Kub from Dorel and continue the business independently. My time at Dorel was brilliant, it was a superb company to work for with some fantastic people who taught me a lot about the nursery industry.
I decided to make nursery furniture affordable for new parents with a direct website, where mums and dads can design the nursery room with their choice of cots and mattresses, with a comfortable nursing chair to relax in at the end of the day. Having been through (and still within) the parenthood: from buying the newborn baby’s first mattress, baby cotbed, to kid's educational toy, creative tuff tray play, and junior bunk bed, I would like Kub to be a trustworthy helper to accompany the parents and children on their journey of growth.

We design and produce the products with our next generations in mind and we insist on using toxic-free and sustainable materials. As new parents we understand the importance of baby product safety to give you the peace of mind for a good night sleep.

Thankfully we are still going and we are stronger now than ever. This is due to the continued support of our customers. As a small business, we partner with local parents and businesses on design and creative projects. We also support charities and schools with financial and product donations.
- Our future and planet earth
By using sustainable wood, we are working to reduce the impact on climate change. We design product packaging with fun activities like colour-ins to encourage re-use and recycling. We apply zero plastic packaging and control the packaging size and weight to reduce waste and carbon emissions. In 2020, we launched the first free recyclable baby mattress service with the Eco baby mattress range. We hope the sustainable baby and kids products help build a beautiful environment for our future generations.
